Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS)

• Funed through the Sir Peter Tizard Bursary
• This study will commence in October 2009 covering UK only
• The nationa burns units weill also be involved in ascertaining cases
• It aims to: define the incidence of TSS due to staphylococcal or streptococcal organisms
• identify the different forms of clinical presentation of TSS due to staphylococcal or streptococcal organisms
• identify the key features of clinical management
