Guillain-Barré Syndrome/Fisher Syndrome
- This is a rapid response study following the recent Swine Flu (H1N1) pandemic
- Surveillance will commence in September 2009
- The study will determine how many new cases of Guillain-Barré syndrome in children and young people (aged 16 years or under)
- The study will also determine history,nature and outcome to infection
- The study will also examine vaccination history
- Approved by Trent Ethics Committee and National Information Governance Board
